Vestibular and oculomotor work, GyroStim, neurofeedback and hyperbaric oxygen, combined in one program under one roof, so every part of your plan is built from the same evaluation.
-

GyroStim, in house

It’s taken my game to the next level.

“We are seeing Dr. Jeff because my husband had a stroke. We love that he rehab’s the brain and we are already seeing so much cognitive improvement. He has only had 7 sessions and we can’t wait to see the results.”
“What really sets True Performance apart is the staff. Every single person I worked with was not only extremely knowledgeable, but also genuinely compassionate.”
“From my very first visit, he made me feel understood and supported. … My plan included several of his advanced modalities: GyroStim, Dynavision, Class IV laser, HBOT, neurofeedback, and his gentle chiropractic care.”
“Working with Dr. McWhorter, I completed 40 sessions that included neurofeedback, hyperbaric oxygen therapy (HBOT), GyroStim, and Dynavision. This combination of treatments helped address past athletic brain injuries and made a noticeable difference in how my brain and body functioned.”
“After 20 sessions I was back to normal and had my memory return and was able to bring my brain out of the sympathetic fight or flight to a calm well balanced state.”

Is True Performance a medical doctor’s office?
No. True Performance is a chiropractic- and rehabilitation-led clinic, founded by Dr. Jeff McWhorter, D.C. We coordinate with your physician, who stays responsible for medical diagnosis and treatment.
What happens during the first visit?
Your first visit takes about 90 minutes, plus data and history gathering. It looks at the physical, electrical and chemical aspects of nervous system function, and may include qEEG brain mapping and lab testing.
How is GyroStim different from other balance therapies?
GyroStim uses a computer-controlled, multi-axis rotational chair to combine precise movement with visual, cognitive and sensorimotor tasks. Unlike balance exercises on a stationary surface, the direction, speed and intensity of each rotation can be closely adjusted to your assessment.
How does neurofeedback work?
Sensors on the scalp record electrical brainwave activity and translate it into real-time visual or auditory feedback, so you can practice more regulated patterns during guided sessions. It is non-invasive and does not deliver electrical stimulation to the brain.
